This pub has recently started up brewing their own beer agiain. They have 7 hand pumps serving a selection of their own beers as well as other breweries. The pub is about 5 minutes walk from the Town Hall. There is also a bus stop pretty much right outside which is served by major bus routes such as the 50.

This is the first time I have been to the Fox & Newt since it closed for refurbishment and reopened. There are 8 pumps but only 4 ales were on offer and mainly all the standard beers you find in most places so I'm guessing they are all permanent beers there now. No sign of any beers from the brewery at the pub but signs indicate that brewing still takes place.

went to the Fox and Newt last probably over a year ago and the beer selection wasn't too great. Now that they have started brewing agin, the selection is very good. Its a good place to go if you are wanting somewhere a bit quieter than town.
