Description
[Edit]This has twice been the Camra local pub of the year and is very small inside. There is a small front bar and then a corridoor that leads to a back room where there is a little hatch where you can order drinks from the bar.

I can't remember which beer I had in here as I had had quite a few by this time. As always the pub is always a pleasure to go to.

The Blue Bell is a little cracker, I visit it every time I stay in York. I believe they have a beer festival in early November, when they close off the narrow street outside to increase the drinking area, I've never been to it though
