This is one of the pubs owned by Market Town Taverns - www.markettowntaverns.co.uk

The pub opened in 2003 and was formally an off licence. The number 50 bus stops outside it so it is easily accessible from anyone on the route to Leeds.

The pub is no Smoking throughout and food is served both in the bar and the Brasserie upstairs. Serving times are Monday 6 - 9 food served downstairs only, Tuesday to Saturdays 6 -9 food served both upstairs and downstairs and Sundays food is served 12 -5 both up and downstairs.

Dogs are welcome and the pub has a dog food menu.

I just had a couple of pints of the Rade beer tonight. Its the first time I have tried this new Leeds brew and its very nice, quite light and hoppy. The Phonix Arizona seems to have become a regular now, its been on the last few times I have been in.
