Open at 8.00am, when breakfast is served up to 10.30am. Bar meals and sandwiches are served from 11.00am all day up to 10.00pm.
November - February (Winter)
Reduced opening hours during the winter period / quieter times, so please check prior to visiting.

Pub with a proper \'edge of the wilderness\' feel to it. Warm friendly welcome and excellent bar meals. Only two hand pumps but serving great well-kept ale.

Walked up to this pub from the house we were staying at. A pint of Jennings Bitter and then a Cumberland followed, great tasty beer.
We then ordered food, I got the mixed grill, I nearly fell out my chair when it arrived, the portion size was huge. I'm not
a 'small' person by any means, so I'm embarassed to say I couldn't finish it. Defininately for the hungrier bloke. Quality of food and the service was excellent. Well recommended.
