[Edit]This unusually shaped Public House is home to some great Ales, always in perfect condition and fantastic food (Value 4 Money assured).
The spacious patio area creates an excellent atmosphere situated next to the River Derwent with adequate seating and tables for all.
During the summer have the ever popular Blues, Booze and BBQ's evenings. All this is coupled with a vast array of excellent beers, frequently changing to give even the most discerning drinker something new to let the taste buds experience.

Great little pub with good solid atmosphere. The ale here was top notch and in summer I can imagine that The Smithfield will be on the map for having a nice pint on the patio next to the river.
